Shipping Rates for within the United States

To view shipping costs, click on the "estimate shipping" button on the bottom left of the shopping cart. After entering your zip code, you can view the shipping costs.

Packages will be sent using UPS for most orders or the United States Postal Service for some smaller items. The order may be delivered in multiple packages which can sometimes arrive on different days. You will be emailed order updates including the tracking number for your order if one is available.

Items shipped to an Iowa address will have 7% sales tax added to the order.
Estimated Shipping time: 3-14 business days
(Items usually ship in 1-5 business days and shipping usually takes 2-9 business days)
Shipping times are not guaranteed and may be longer due to delays.

International Shipping

Medieval Matters currently only ships orders within the United States.

Our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

You may return any item purchased from Medieval Matters within 30 days of purchase if for any reason you aren’t completely satisfied! We will happily refund your purchase assuming the item is returned in original condition without damage or wear from use. (Costumes must be unworn and only have two days after you receive it to notify us) You will receive a 100% cash refund of the item's price. If you choose to receive your refund as store credit and the order was shipped within the Continental US, we will even refund the original shipping cost (up to half the price of the item) too! The customer is responsible for return shipping. Simply follow these steps:

1. Contact us within 30 days of your purchase and tell us which item you would like to return. (For costumes you must contact us within 2 days of receiving the item) We will then tell you the address for you to ship the item to.

2. Repack the item in its original packaging and ship to the address provided. For your security make sure to ship the item via an insured courier and keep the receipt. Make sure to ship soon because we must receive the product within 45 days of its purchase date.

3. Wait for us to receive your product. After receiving your product in its original condition we will issue you a cash refund of the full amount of the item through the same payment method you purchased the item with. If you chose to receive store credit you will receive an email containing a gift certificate for the full amount of the item plus the original shipping shipping cost for the order.

Note: Returns from orders which received free shipping will have a fee of the item's normal shipping cost to cover shipping expenses.

Returns for Damaged or Defective Products

If an item arrives damaged from shipping, please notify us immediately. We will place a claim with the delivery company and deliver you a new product.

If an item is defective but not damaged from shipping, please notify us immediately. We will give you a return address to ship the item to and we will send a replacement item and reimbursement for the return shipping after receiving the defective product. Defective items must be received back to us within 30 days of your order. Items received after this time will still be replaced but may not be reimbursed for the return shipping.

Our Low Price Guarantee

We guarantee we have the lowest price on all of our products. If you find somewhere with a lower price, we will beat it. You even have up to 3 days after your purchase to find a lower price!

The price is considered to be the total price of the product, which is the product’s price plus all shipping, handling, and other charges. The low price guarantee applies to any shipping address in the continental United States but not outside of it.

Our guarantee does not apply when the competitor's price is only lower because of coupons, rebates, promotional offers, sales, free shipping, product-bundle pricing, bulk discounts, membership pricing, or if they are out-of-stock of the item.

The competitor must be a reputable business. This means businesses with poorly constructed websites, no SSL protection, no address and phone number to contact them, etc. are excluded. Business such as these would likely have poor customer service and may be scams. Auction sites are also excluded. We reserve the right to decide if a competitor should be considered reputable.

We reserve the right to limit the number of the same product for which we will be able to beat the competitor’s price.

Requests must be received either before purchase or within 3 days of the purchase of the product.

To submit a request, contact us with the following information:

• Order Number (if already ordered)
• The product ID
• URL to the competitor's product
• Date you saw the competitor's product at that price
• The price you are requesting or the amount of the refund you are requesting
